Domain Authority and Link Building Strategy

How to increase your link popularity and increase your page rank all depends on your understanding of the link building process. It starts with knowing your domain authority or, in simpler terms, how high your website is listed in Google. Simply put, understanding the domain authority of a website, which is freely available, isn't enough to determine how many link profiles the website has.

What's more, even a low-authority website can have more traffic than an authority site with greater SEO capability. This means that you can have a lot of backlinks without actually having too many links on other websites. Understanding how Google works when calculating the SEO metric you want to calculate is a vital step to take when optimizing your websites.

Google measures three key areas when calculating your SEO score: backlinks, incoming links and pages. Each of these areas are equally as important as the others but each are particularly germane to one another. Backlinks and incoming links are using by Googlebot to evaluate your SERPs (search engine result pages) and these are calculated based on the total number of gazillions of pages within your domain's directory that are linked to your specific backlink profile. Google only considers sites that contain content relevant to yours and the exact same domain name, exactly the same tags and exact same meta-tags.

So, backlinks aren't the be-all and end-all of the ranking system. If your website's directory contains only one type of content and your competition has several, you will receive little benefit from your effort. On the other hand, if your website's directory is filled with tens of thousands of different types of content, you will receive a high SEO score simply because it is very likely that you have a valuable niche within your market niche.

In addition, backlinks are valued quite low in Google. They receive about a page rank, or 5% of Google's search engine ranking. This means that it is difficult for backlinks to rank highly enough in Google to make them very important in determining your SEO rank. In fact, Google only cares so much how many quality websites to link to your link.

Google also uses high domain metrics to rate the relative importance of your page within the Google ecosystem. Google's Page Rank is calculated using a special algorithm called PRQ. Google's current PRQ formula is almost identical to the mathematical equations used in physics. Page Rank is based on how many link-agents refer your page.

So, it makes sense that Google uses these two metrics to rank your webpages. But there is more. Google also uses internal domain metrics which are not shown to the public Internet user. By understanding these special internal metrics, you can improve your understanding of how Google works. You can also gain a better understanding of how you can use Google's scoring to improve the value of your website.

Domain name popularity and link popularity are important, but they are not the most important element Google uses to rank your site. Instead, Google uses a special metric called the Page Score. The higher the page rank, the higher the Search Engine Rank will be. And the lower the PRQ, the lower the Domain Authority. Understanding these concepts will improve the value you add to your website by improving its ranking factor.

How to find out how Domain Authority relates to link building and page authority can be a little confusing at first. The easiest way to understand how this all works is to consider how Google views the quality of links that point to a website. Google looks at the quality of the anchor text used to link to a site. Google's reasoning for doing this is to determine how useful the anchor text is.

In simple terms, Google wants to find sites that have the most relevant links pointing to them. The higher the PRQ, or Page Score, the more relevant the links pointing to that site are. Thus, the higher the PRQ the more valuable the site is considered by Google. In this way, Google measures the relevance of your site as well as the quality of links pointing to it. One thing that is not commonly known is that if a PRQ is very high (such as over 500), that means that the page authority is very high as well. In other words, the link building is very effective and the site ranks higher in the search results.

This all ties into getting high Domain Authority in order to get links pointing to your website. It also helps you get links pointing to your own domain, which is beneficial in the search engines. If you can get high Domain Authorities then the link building strategy you are using will help you to get high rankings. You want to make sure that you use all the variables to your advantage when you are working on your link building strategy so that you can get as many backlinks pointing to your website as possible.
